Plant-Based Desserts Trainer
Bel Faustino
Bel’s curiosity for healthy living started at the young age of 11. From mindful eating to exercise, she always had a sweet tooth struggle and her weakness are desserts. Her inspiration for baking came from her family tree of three generations - her great grand aunt, her grandma and her mother who have also baked throughout their lives. It then took her high school and uni days to find the balance to maintain the healthy lifestyle yet enjoy desserts in a more guilt-free way and veganizing them seems the way to do it.
Bel has co-founded and co-developed projects such as Macau DreamCake (MDC) in 2018, Vedge Macau in 2023 and in 2024, has decided to rebrand MDC into Macau Dream Cafe to expand more than just vegan cakes with an ongoing project ColleXtives to showcase the first veg friendly Macau-Filipino cafe.
Bel has always been obsessed with finding healthier alternatives, she hopes to recreate her favorite non-vegan treats and share her recipes inspired by her lifestyle and travels (Southeast Asia, USA, Mexico, Europe and more to come).
